This knowledge base article describes how to focus a Triton2 EVS camera. Focusing a Triton2 EVS differs from a standard area scan camera since the camera only transmits event changes in the scene, which means that a static target is not suitable for achieving focus. Therefore, we will use a blinking target to help achieve focus.
Using ArenaView
- Attach your lens to the Triton2 EVS.
- Connect to the Triton2 EVS camera in ArenaView.
- Set the EVS Output Frame to CD Frame.
- Press the
button to start streaming the camera. - Place the following blinking target in the camera’s field of view.

5. Focus the lens as needed.
